Description: Estate-bottled wine
Region: Nandi Valley Appellation, Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Grapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery’s own estates
Harvesting: Hand-harvested in spring 2012.
Winemaking: Our Cabernet Sauvignon is truly the best varietals. Our winemaker completed the blend to make a perfectly balanced wine with structure and body yet a supple feel on the palate. The high percentage of whole berry fermentation gives layers of complexity at controlled temperatures for 15 days in stainless steel tanks, with pumping over to retain fruit characteristics. The wine was then pressed in pneumatic bladder press, and racked three times, before the final filtration and bottling in January 2013.
Winemaker: Andrea Valentinuzzi, Italy
Tasting Notes: A dark red wine with a classic aroma of plums & berries with hints of capsicum. Medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a good finish.
Food Pairings: Red meats and lightly-spiced Indian dishes are worthy accompaniments to this amazing Cabarnet.
Serving tips: Served cool (16 – 18 deg. C)
Alcohol: 12.5% v/v
